NDC operates out of school play provision for ages 8 to 11 years old during the school term holidays. These activities include: Canoeing, Night walk, Mountain climbing, Assault courses, Archery and Sailing.

New Canteen is part of Community Links. It caters for 0-20 year olds and provides services such as: child-care scheme, play-scheme (Easter & Summer holidays only), youth club, teenage parent & toddler group and education (in GCSEs leading to GNVQ).
