Household waste - large, bulky items
Did you know that the council offer a free service to remove large or bulky household waste from your front garden?

Once a week your household refuse will be collected by the council. However, if you have any bulky items that will not fit into your refuse container - such as sofas, beds, fridges etc - you can organise for the council to collect these for disposal from your front garden, free of charge.

Up to 6 household items can be collected at any one time free of charge. This includes bagged household waste which would overfill your refuse container. Contact the council on 020 8430 2000 for more information.
