Making a homeless application If you need to make a homeless application, you should telephone 0208 430 2000 or visit your local service centre.

If you are homeless, eligible and in priority need, the advisor will book an appointment for you to come to the Homeless Persons Unit for an interview.

The housing  team will have a legal duty to find `interim’ accommodation for you. In some cases you may be able to stay with family or friends whilst your initial application is being assessed.
